Alaina May is a twenty-year-old indie-pop singer-songwriter from just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but currently living in Boston, Massachusetts, studying at Boston University. She has been playing music since she was 6 years old, but really discovered a passion when she got her first guitar at 10 years old. In more recent years, Alaina has ventured into songwriting and playing gigs at local restaurants and events in her hometown and in Boston. Her music is acoustic-centric, with relatable coming-of-age lyrics, and catchy melodies.  She recorded and released a 4-track EP, entitled "417," in September of 2022 and is also featured on several other tracks. But it was until writing and recording her upcoming single, "Keeps Me Up," that Alaina felt like she found her sound as an artist and a songwriter. With a collection of new music and lyrics in the works, her journey is just getting started.
